FENIX at the FIRST CONNECTIVITY CONFERENCE OF THE GREATER CARIBBEAN

Dr Eusebiu Catana will join the Association of Caribbean states (ACS) and Collectivité Territoriale de Martinique (CTM) at the 1st Connectivity Conference of the Greater Caribbean on October 18th – 20th, 2023 in Sainte-Luce, Martinique.

The theme of the Conference is: “One Sea, Sky and a Single Market: An integrated approach towards enhancing connectivity in the Greater Caribbean

 

Dr Catana will be one the panellists of ROUND TABLE 4: Theme: Green and Digital Caribbean Corridors.

Theme: Green and Digital Caribbean Corridors

 

This round table will deep dive into the need for interoperability between information systems at ports and sustainable transport infrastructure. The objective is to accelerate the deployment of low- and zero-carbon emission solutions, identify digital shipping programmes, and develop green fuel sources for bunkering to support efficient cargo movement. In addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the green and digital shipping corridor aims to catalyse investment in green infrastructure, including zero-carbon energy hubs.
